The various cross stitch books with patterns based on mom’s art work are no longer being published…online sites such as eBay or bookfinder.com may be a possible source for these books…

I am looking for the cross stitch book “the Nestling sampler” on the front of the leaflet are the pictures of cross stitch birds in vertical frames. A cardinal, a bluebird plus others. i have not been able to find the cross stitch leaflet anywhere, Perhaps you could help me find this one. I have many of her other cross stitch leaflets but not that one.

Hello….a number of the cross stitch pattern books featuring mom’s artwork are currently listed on eBay; several have “nestling” in the title. Perhaps it is one of these? Thanks for contacting us!
Carolyn, I love your work! I was unable to obtain some of your clip art cd’s before pccrafter closed. Is there anyway to get them? I really love birds life one and two. I think it was a bad idea for them to shut down. Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your inquiry about clip art from the original artwork of my mother, Carolyn Shores Wright…I am responding for her, since she seldom uses the Internet…she likes to use as much free time as possible to paint!
Mom’s licensing agent recently told me the following since the closure of PC Crafters:
” I’ve been referring customers to Betty’s Downloadable Embroidery website since PC Crafters went out of business but Betty’s is more for embroidery patterns rather than downloadable everyday patterns. Other than that, there are no other digital licenses of Carolyn’s designs.”
I’m sorry nothing else is available at the moment…thanks again for contacting us…

Hello, Linda Lange, and thank you for your comment…over the years mom’s art has many licensed for hundreds of items, including many prints such as the one you have. We have no way to determine the current value of any of those items.

Hello. I bought a pair of matching bird pictures (one facing left, the other facing right) at a garage sale. They are beautiful and were attractively matted and framed so I grabbed them up~~later I noticed the signature and it was dated 1979. I am thrilled to find this website and see more work by Ms.Wright. Lovely!

I love your mother’s work – especially the “comic” bluebirds. I have several of them and I would like to get the cross stitch pattern for Pardners. It shows on the the back cover of The Nestlings Family Album but it is not in that book. Is it available anywhere else?
