I have always loved Carolyn’s work. You are so talented and a wonderful friend as well. Blessings.
In the mid-1980s, I began to collect signed and numbered watercolor prints by Ms. Shores-Wright. Then, in the early 2000’s, I was living in Muskegon, Michigan and looked at a house on the Lake that was for sale. The real estate agent would on share the owners first name, Carolyn, with me. I noticed a sketch, of sorts, of a little bird that was laying on the desk as I was leaving the house. When I recognized the little bird, I asked the real estate agent if the house belonged to Carolyn Shores Wright, I received a non-commital answer. I’ve often thought about that little house on the Lake and wondered about that little bird and the artist who drew the picture…I like to think it was Ms. Shores-Wright. The pictures I bought and framed more than 30 years ago are still with me; I have a young granddaughter who I hope will someday love them as much I do. Warmly, Lucinda Wiseman
